As a wife to a loving and supportive husband for going on 10 years and a mom of 3 kids, my family has always been my number 1 priority which is why I love doing fun activities with them and capturing all my precious times with them before they grow up in the blink of an eye.
I was born and raised in the Toronto, ON area. I graduated as an Early Childhood Educator shortly after I met my husband and have been married and living in Hamilton for the past 9 years with our three beautiful children. I have always had a passion for photography ever since I was young but I fell in love with newborn photography when a newborn photographer friend did my son’s newborn photos and shortly after excitedly started my own business and couldn't get enough of it. I have invested a lot of time and money on everything needed to provide only the best experience and images for my clients.

a peek into my life
My mom was a big part of my life, she was my best friend and taught me how to be a good mom. Sadly, unexpectedly, she passed away one month before my first child was born. This was extremely devastating and I was heartbroken that I couldn't have any memories of her with any of my children.
It really makes my heart happy when I have the opportunity to be apart and help creative of a family's beautiful memory including the grandparents in sessions. It's a joy to see their joy and it's like I am experiencing it through them.

My family and I love to explore the beautiful outdoors at all times of the year going on hikes to trails, parks and family fields. As a mom I know how children grow so incredibly fast so I use these ocassions to bring my camera everywhere to ensure I don't miss a precious moment.

My husband and I love to travel and find flying exciting! Our honeymoon was in Aruba which was such a dream destination, definitely paradise, and we got to travel to my husband's mom's country in Jamaica which was so much fun discovering the beautiful water fallls. Our trip to Europe where we visited Rome, Florence and Paris was an experience of a lifetime! The history there is so awesome to experience in person. Bahamas, St. Lucia and Hawaii we traveled with the kids and those were some of the most stunning countries that I rave about visiting and the kids loved them too! Our most recent trip was to Florida in Disney World, the kids had an amazing first time there!

I am pretty musically and acting inclined. I love to sing, dance and act! I actually come from a background of musical talent. My mom and dad met at a dance studio and became partners in dance in Latin-American and Ballroom dancing and soon after became partners in life. My dad has taught me basic dance moves and with his lead I got the groove.
My main passion, aside from photography and my kids, is singing! I used to sing in singing competitions in Toronto at various events include the CNE and placed in semi finals and won first place in some. In my early 20's I was the lead singer in a band and we got to perform covers around Toronto. That was tons of fun! My children seem to take after me with music.

We did our newborn pictures with Tamara and it was an amazing experience! Better then I ever expected. Her set up is incredible and her attention to detail was exactly what I needed as I wanted perfection. She delivered! She was so patient with my baby, let my vision come true, added her special touches and created memories we will cherish forever! The slide show selection brought tears to all our eyes! "We had the pleasure of working with Tamara for some family photos in the sunflower fields. I responded to a post she had made for a last minute opportunity, and was a little nervous about how the whole thing would go. Tamara was extremely polite and professional throughout our communication as we worked out the details. When it came time to have our pictures done and finally meet, she made our whole family comfortable and at ease. Once we left the sunflower fields her responses continued to be professional and efficient. The turnover from photo shoot to completed images was less than a week.
